Teater kedua yang aku pergi, tajuk: He Reo Aroha. Masuk percuma sebab uni sponsor. Jadi, conform datang, benda free kn. Mula2 ingat teater tentang Maori culture tapi teater ni lebih kepada love story dan ada scene nyanyi2 lagu traditional Maori sikit. Aku rasa teater ni bagus jgk, mcm teater yg first aku tgk dulu. Pelakon: 2 org je tapi pandai pelakon 2 org ni main tukar2 watak, sekejap jadi nenek kebayan la, jadi pasangan kekasih la, jadi yang lain2 lagi. Props pun sikit sgt tp pandai dia org manipulate props tu jadi mcm2. 2 kerusi jadi meja, jadi kapal nelayan dan macam2 lg. Memang kreatif betul dia org ni.
He Reo Aroha
Written by Miria George and Jamie McCaskill, He Reo Aroha weaves the beauty of original waiata, with a compelling story of love and music. Childhood sweethearts Kaia and Pascoe were always worlds apart. Kaia had trained to sing, grooming her voice for greatness. Working the fishing boats with his father, a song was never far from Pascoe’s lips.
In the heart of Ti Kapa one warm summer’s night, their voices entwine, sealing a love that will last a lifetime. Choosing music over love, Kaia leaves for New York in search of a career that offers privilege and prestige. Broken-hearted, Pascoe is left behind in Ti Kapa to follow in his father’s footsteps. When life doesn’t bring Kaia and Pascoe all they hoped for, they soon discover it is music that will get them through and love that will bring them back together.
